Merit Badge Courses - Ages 11-17 years old. Get hands on with a wide variety of classes like motorboating, kayaking and a wide array of Eagle required MBs like Environmental Science, Personal Management, Citizenship in the Community and much more!

Custom Group Reservations - Book a private outing with any of our classes or activities with your family or Scouting group. Choose from any of our activities and merit badges including kayaks, stand up paddle boards, or our Giant 15 person Stand Up Paddle Board called the BEAST!

Learn to Sail (Sailing Level 1 & 2) - Ages 7-17, set sail with NSB and learn all the fundamentals to sailing all the while cruising Newport Harbor.

Sailing Race Team - Passed level 2? Join our competitive Sailing 2 and participate in our JV or Varsity Team competing in regattas.

Sailing at NSB has your child covered, from beginning sailing classes in our RS Teras to intermediate and advanced sailing in RS Fevas and CFJs. When they catch the sailing bug, join our after school sailors or weekend sailing groups.

Junior Racing Team
Dissect a shark, experience plant and animal touch tanks, create eruptions by testing chemical reactions, practice first aid and CPR on electronic sensor mannequins, build your own cutting board using power tools like drill presses and band saws, and tour the harbor learning to take professional-style photos with our USCG Certified Boat Captains. Newport Sea Base offers introductory and competitive rowing program for all ages. Learn to Row begins as young as 7th grade and prepares young athletes for the competitive high school program. Sea Base Rowing has had over 20 recruits to top college programs in the last few years. The next one could be you!
