Learn about the ocean or environmental science, snorkel in the harbor, learn to be prepared for an emergency preparedness and more in our educational courses.

Be introduced to the exciting world of sailing, learn basic skills to help treat wounds, bites, burns, and more. Work towards earning the Personal Management, Personal Fitness, and Family Life merit badges and more at the Sea Base!
Multi-week sessions | Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday OR Friday
Ages 6-17 | 3 - 6pm or 2 - 5pm | $249+
Experience sailing, paddling in kayak or stand up paddle board, and get a taste of marine science and STEM in sailing.
Charter School Partnerships
The Newport Sea Base is now an approved vendor with the following charter schools: Excel, iLead, & Inspire Academies
Students from any of the above charter schools are entitled to use charter funds to pay for any of our classes and camps. New families enroll by completing our "New User" form, selecting the class or camp, and submitting it along with a note in the comment section that you will be paying with charter school funds. You then follow up by completing the paperwork required by your charter school so that we get paid.
Semester sessions | Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday OR Friday | Ages 7-17 | $1149+
Mornings are filled with marine science, art, engineering, harbor research on boats, and more. The afternoons are complete with sailing, paddle sports, and fishing adventures around the scenic Newport Harbor.
